Robert Audi is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. His areas of research lie within ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of religion, epistemology and philosophy of mind and action. His book publications include: Religious Commit-ment and Secular Reason, Cambridge University Press 2000; Rationality and Religious Commitment, Clarendon Press 2011; and Democratic Authority and the Separation of Church and State, Oxford University Press 2011.
