Responsibilities

We are looking for someone willing to actively participate in the research and teaching (4 academic hours per week) programs of the Department of Philosophy. In addition, responsibilities include taking on administrative duties, participating in applying for third-party funding, and (co-)organizing academic events.

Requirements

Completed university studies in philosophy and a PhD in the field of practical philosophy, social philosophy or critical theory by the time of appointment; very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English. Next to an outstanding research record, teaching experience as well as experience in independently conducting research and in applying for research funding is expected. International experience, an interest in interdisciplinary discussions and the ability and willingness to work in a team are highly desirable.
