The Centre for Social Critique, at the Department of Philosophy at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin offers a position as a student assistant (40 hours per month) for 9 months, starting September 1st, 2023.
The Centre for Social Critique investigates the interrelated crises of capitalism and democracy the perspective of social critique with the goal of social change. The Centre is directed by Prof. Dr. Rahel Jaeggi and Prof. Dr. Robin Celikates.
Job Profile: The successful candidate supports the Centre's team and should have a strong interest in the Centre's research topics and activities, she/ he should have very good MS Office and excellent English skills, and be proficient in literature research and proof-reading (also preferably in English). A profound interest in social philosophy and critical theory is desirable.
Requirements: The successful candidate should be enrolled as a student of philosophy (BA or MA).
