Jonas Harney

Zur Person

Jonas Harney war von Oktober 2019 bis August 2020 Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Praktische Philosophie und Didaktik der Philosophie an der Humboldt-Universität in Vertretung für Dr. Maike Albertzart.

Studium an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (M.A. 2018) und der Technischen Universität Dresden (B.A. 2012). Seit 2018 Promotion an der Universität des Saarlandes bei Prof. Dr. Christoph Fehige zu "Personal and Impersonal Views in Welfare Ethics". Von 2018 bis 2019 und wieder seit September 2020 Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Universität des Saarlands.

Schwerpunkte

Normative Ethik, insbesondere die theoretischen Anspekte der Ethik zukünftiger Generationen und der Gegensatz und die Beziehung zwischen konsequentialistischen und deontologischen Moraltheorien und der diversen Probleme, die damit verbunden sind.

Dissertationsprojekt zu personellen und impersonellen Sichtweisen in der Wohlergehensethik.

Weitere Interessen: Angewandte Ethik, insbesondere in Bezug auf zukünftige Generationen (z.B. Klimaethik), politische Philosophie und Metaethik.
