Zur Person

Livia von Samson ist Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Praktische Philosophie und Sozialphilosophie. Ihre Promotion wird von Prof. Dr. Rahel Jaeggi und Prof. Dr. Rachel Fraser (Oxford / MIT) betreut. Sie hat Philosophie und Musik in Heidelberg, Berlin (Humboldt-Universität & Universität der Künste), und Oxford studiert. Im Wintersemester 2023/24 war sie als Fulbright-Stipendiatin auf Einladung von Prof. Dr. Sally Haslanger für einen Forschungsaufenthalt am Massachusetts Institute of Technology. 

Livia von Samsons Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich der Sozialphilosophie, des Feminismus und der Erkenntnistheorie. In ihrer Dissertation argumentiert sie für die Vergesellschaftung von Sorgearbeit und gegen die familialistische Einrichtung der Gesellschaft.
